At DocuSign, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Product Marketing Manager to join our team and lead our competitive strategy. As the Product Marketing Manager - Competitive Strategy, you will play a crucial role in driving the success of our product by analyzing and understanding the competitive landscape, identifying opportunities for differentiation, and developing effective strategies to position DocuSign as a leader in the market.   1. Develop and implement competitive strategy for DocuSign products to drive market leadership and growth.
  2. Conduct thorough analysis of the competitive landscape and regularly monitor market trends and developments.
  3. Identify key areas of differentiation and develop messaging and positioning strategies to effectively communicate these differentiators to target audiences.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management, sales, and marketing to ensure alignment and execution of competitive strategy.
  5. Create and maintain competitive intelligence reports and regularly share insights and recommendations with internal stakeholders.
  6. Develop and manage competitive battlecards, sales tools, and other materials to support sales and marketing efforts.
  7. Lead competitive product messaging and positioning workshops to ensure consistent and effective messaging across all channels.
  8. Stay up-to-date on industry news and trends to inform competitive strategy and product positioning.
  9. Conduct market research, including customer and competitor interviews, to gather insights and inform decision-making.
  10. Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to competitive strategy, including market share, product positioning, and customer satisfaction.
  11. Collaborate with product management to identify and prioritize new product features and enhancements based on market and competitive analysis.
  12. Act as a subject matter expert on competitive landscape and provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
  13. Continuously evaluate and improve competitive strategy and adjust as needed to maintain a competitive edge in the market.
  14. Represent DocuSign at industry events and conferences to stay informed on market trends and gather competitive intelligence.
  15. Mentor and guide junior team members to develop their skills in product marketing and competitive strategy.
