Single Line Operator

Serve as Operator for a minimum of (1) major packaging line; assist in establishing accurate and specific operating procedures. Assume a leadership role for assigned packaging line to enable safety, quality, and production goals are achieved. Ensure Hour by Hour Boards capture all downtime to help prioritize efforts for resolution with supporting departments. Keep all machines clean and in good working order. Perform necessary set-up operations following proper Standard Operating Procedures for all pieces of equipment on the packaging line. Produce products as specified in the daily schedule and prioritized by the Operations Manager. Follow all packaging procedures, paying close attention to the information given on the Production Order to properly identify, label and code all packages. Perform all necessary steps to prevent contamination of products when changing from batch to batch, per the existing Standard Operating Procedures. Perform any tasks assigned by the Operations Manager as required. Develop good working knowledge of the production resource numbers, label groups and packaging materials.
