Job Description

In conjunction with the factory management, ensure compliance with all applicable OSHA, federal, state, and company safety and environmental policies/procedures. Perform and/or assist in the troubleshooting, adjustments, repairs, and/or fabrication of all electro mechanical equipment including PLC’s, VFD’s etc. Evaluate manufacturing processes for improvements in process reliability, rate, and overall performance. Participate in process improvement and root-cause analysis efforts, identify inefficiencies and design flaws and recommend improvements. Define and improve standard operating procedures Coordinate activities with the maintenance & production leads/managers to maximize operating efficiency. Develop and execute improvements to factory equipment and processes to positively impact performance metrics. Support maintenance personnel to trouble shoot and repair factory equipment to existing performance standards.

Job Qualifications

  • 4 year engineering degree preferred.

  • Must be tolerant to routine exposure of small amounts of chemical dusts and fumes.

  • Expertise in chemical mixing, material handling, and packaging equipment.

  • Knowledge of PLCs and automation, with demonstrated ability to trouble shoot, repair, and modify/upgrade hardware and software components
