  1. Greet and welcome customers as they enter the store, providing a positive and friendly atmosphere.
  2. Assist customers with any inquiries or needs, providing exceptional customer service at all times.
  3. Maintain a thorough understanding of the store's products and services to effectively assist customers and make recommendations.
  4. Work closely with other store associates and managers to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.
  5. Monitor and maintain store cleanliness and organization, including restocking shelves and maintaining visual standards.
  6. Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including cash handling and using store technology systems.
  7. Assist in inventory management, including receiving and stocking merchandise, conducting inventory counts, and identifying any discrepancies.
  8. Help to create a welcoming and enjoyable shopping experience for customers, providing a positive and memorable visit to the store.
  9. Stay up-to-date on current promotions, sales, and events, and effectively communicate them to customers.
  10. Continuously seek opportunities to improve the overall customer experience and provide feedback and suggestions to store management.
  11. Collaborate with store management to develop and implement strategies to increase sales and achieve store goals.
  12. Train and mentor new associates to ensure they are knowledgeable and able to provide excellent customer service.
  13. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety and security protocols, to maintain a safe and positive work environment.
  14. Act as a brand ambassador, representing Dillard's in a professional and positive manner at all times.
  15. Continuously strive to grow and develop within the company, taking on additional responsibilities and opportunities for advancement.

Job Qualifications
  • Experience In Retail Management: Candidates Should Have A Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In A Retail Management Role, Preferably In A Department Store Setting. This Experience Should Include Managing A Team, Driving Sales, And Meeting Customer Service Goals.

  • Strong Leadership Skills: The Ideal Candidate Should Possess Excellent Leadership Skills, Including The Ability To Motivate And Develop A Team, Delegate Tasks Effectively, And Handle Conflicts Or Challenges In A Positive And Professional Manner.

  • Knowledge Of Merchandising And Inventory Management: A Successful Store Management Associate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Visual Merchandising Principles And Be Able To Effectively Manage Inventory Levels To Meet Sales Goals And Minimize Shrinkage.

  • Customer Service Orientation: Dillard's Prides Itself On Providing Exceptional Customer Service, And The Store Management Associate Should Embody This Philosophy. Candidates Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Delivering Outstanding Customer Service And Be Able To Coach And Train Their Team To Do The Same.

  • Sales And Financial Acumen: The Store Management Associate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Sales And Financial Metrics, Such As Sales Per Hour, Average Transaction Value, And Profit Margins. They Should Also Have Experience Creating And Managing Budgets, Analyzing Sales Data, And Implementing Strategies To Drive Sales And Improve Profitability.
