Store Maintenance Technician

At Dillard's, we are looking for an experienced and motivated Store Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a problem solver with strong technical and organizational skills, as well as a commitment to providing excellent customer service. We are looking for someone who is comfortable working independently and can handle a variety of tasks with minimal supervision.The successful candidate should have prior experience in a store maintenance role, as well as a background in building maintenance and/or carpentry. The ideal candidate will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to multitask, and the capacity to manage their time effectively. Responsibilities:

1. Identify, diagnose, and repair store maintenance issues in a timely and efficient manner.
2. Perform daily, weekly, and monthly store maintenance tasks such as cleaning, painting, and minor carpentry work.
3. Ensure that all store maintenance equipment is functioning properly and complete necessary repairs and maintenance as needed.
4. Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and supplies.
5. Inspect store premises for any safety hazards and take corrective action to remedy any situation.
6. Maintain a clean and organized store environment.
7. Handle customer inquiries and complaints regarding store maintenance issues in a professional and courteous manner.
8. Monitor store building systems such as HVAC, plumbing, and electrical to ensure proper functioning.
9. Adhere to all safety procedures and regulations.
10. Assist with other duties as assigned.
