  1. Greet and welcome clients to Dillard's Salon in a friendly and professional manner.
  2. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing clients' needs and concerns and ensuring their satisfaction.
  3. Perform a variety of salon services, including haircuts, styling, coloring, and other beauty treatments.
  4. Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and techniques in the beauty industry and implement them in services.
  5. Educate clients on proper hair care and recommend products to maintain their desired look.
  6. Maintain a clean and organized salon environment, including workstations, equipment, and tools.
  7. Handle cash and credit transactions accurately and efficiently.
  8. Schedule and confirm appointments, manage walk-in clients, and maintain client records.
  9. Collaborate with other Salon Associates and stylists to ensure smooth operations and exceptional service delivery.
  10. Attend and actively participate in training sessions and staff meetings to enhance skills and knowledge.
  11. Adhere to all safety and sanitation procedures and regulations.
  12. Demonstrate a positive attitude and strong work ethic to contribute to a productive and supportive team environment.
  13. Represent Dillard's Salon and its values by maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
  14. Continuously strive to meet or exceed sales goals and contribute to the success of the salon.
  15. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and positive word-of-mouth referrals.

Job Qualifications

  • Experience In The Beauty Industry: A Salon Associate At Dillard's Should Have A Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working In A Salon Or Beauty-Related Field. This Experience Should Include Knowledge Of Various Hair And Makeup Techniques, As Well As Experience Working With Different Types Of Clients.

  • Strong Customer Service Skills: The Salon Associate Should Have Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills In Order To Provide Exceptional Customer Service To Clients. This Includes Being Able To Listen To Clients' Needs And Preferences, Offering Professional Advice And Recommendations, And Ensuring A Positive Experience For Each Client.

  • Knowledge Of Salon Products And Services: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Comprehensive Understanding Of Salon Products, Including Hair Care, Skincare, And Makeup. They Should Also Be Familiar With The Various Services Offered At The Salon, Such As Cuts, Color, Styling, And Waxing.

  • Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced Environment: Dillard's Is A Busy Retail Environment, And The Salon Is No Exception. The Salon Associate Should Be Able To Work Efficiently And Effectively, Even During Peak Hours. This Includes Multitasking, Managing Time Effectively, And Maintaining A Professional Demeanor At All Times.

  • State Cosmetology License: A Valid State Cosmetology License Is Required For The Salon Associate Position At Dillard's. This Ensures That The Candidate Has Completed The Necessary Training And Education To Provide Salon Services In A Safe And Professional Manner. Additionally, The Candidate Should Be Knowledgeable About State Regulations And Guidelines For Operating A Salon.
