  1. Greet and welcome clients to the salon with a friendly and positive attitude.
  2. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing clients' needs and concerns.
  3. Assist clients in selecting beauty products and services that meet their individual needs.
  4. Perform various salon services such as hair styling, makeup application, and nail services.
  5. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including sanitizing tools and equipment.
  6. Communicate effectively with clients to ensure their satisfaction with services and products.
  7. Educate clients on proper product usage and provide recommendations for at-home care.
  8. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and product knowledge to enhance the customer experience.
  9. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and efficient service delivery.
  10. Handle cash and credit transactions accurately and efficiently.
  11. Adhere to company policies and procedures to maintain a professional and safe work environment.
  12. Continuously seek opportunities to improve service quality and enhance the overall client experience.
  13. Attend training sessions and meetings to expand knowledge and skills.
  14. Build and maintain relationships with clients to foster loyalty and retention.
  15. Uphold the brand image and values of Dillard's through excellent service and representation.

Job Qualifications

  • Cosmetology License: A Salon Associate At Dillard's Should Possess A Valid Cosmetology License To Demonstrate Their Technical Skills And Knowledge In Hair, Skin, And Nail Services.

  • Customer Service Experience: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Previous Experience In A Customer-Facing Role, Preferably In A Salon Or Retail Environment. They Should Have A Friendly And Approachable Demeanor, Excellent Communication Skills, And The Ability To Provide Exceptional Customer Service.

  • Product Knowledge: Dillard's Offers A Wide Range Of Beauty And Haircare Products, And The Salon Associate Should Have A Good Understanding Of The Products Sold In The Store. They Should Be Able To Make Recommendations To Clients And Educate Them About The Benefits Of Different Products.

  • Team Player: As Part Of The Dillard's Team, The Salon Associate Should Be Able To Work Collaboratively With Other Salon Staff And Store Employees. They Should Have A Positive Attitude And Be Willing To Assist In Other Areas Of The Store When Needed.

  • Sales Skills: In Addition To Providing Salon Services, The Salon Associate Should Also Have Strong Sales Skills To Promote And Sell Salon Services And Products. They Should Be Able To Upsell And Cross-Sell To Clients, As Well As Meet Sales Targets Set By The Store.
