Job Description

As a Merchandising Assistant at Dillard's, you will be responsible for assisting the Merchandising team in the execution of merchandising initiatives. You will help drive the success of the department by utilizing your creative skills to ensure the right product is available to our customers. We are looking for a highly motivated, detail-oriented, and organized individual to join our team.We require a minimum of two years experience in the retail industry, with a focus on merchandise management and merchandising operations. Strong organizational and communication skills are also essential. Responsibilities:

  1. Assist the Merchandising team in executing merchandising initiatives.
  2. Utilize creative skills to ensure the right product is available to customers.
  3. Maintain detailed records and reports on merchandise management and merchandising operations.
  4. Monitor current fashion industry trends and customer needs and preferences.
  5. Stay current on market conditions and competitive offerings.
  6. Develop and communicate merchandising plans and strategies.
  7. Analyze sales data and customer feedback to identify areas of improvement.
  8. Collaborate with store managers to increase sales and identify opportunities for growth.
  9. Ensure all merchandise displays are up-to-date and properly merchandised.
  10. Monitor inventory levels to ensure stock is replenished in a timely manner.
