As a member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our store's back dock and storage areas, as well as assisting with various housekeeping tasks throughout the store.   1. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store's back dock and storage areas.
  2. Ensure all merchandise and supplies are properly stored and organized.
  3. Assist with receiving and unloading deliveries and distributing them to the appropriate departments.
  4. Clean and maintain equipment and tools used in the dock area.
  5. Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks.
  6. Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe and clean work environment.
  7. Complete daily housekeeping tasks throughout the store, including but not limited to: sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting.
  8. Monitor and report any maintenance or repair needs in the dock and storage areas.
  9. Communicate effectively with management and team members to ensure all tasks are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
  10. Maintain a positive and professional attitude while representing the company.
  11. Provide exceptional customer service by promptly responding to any inquiries or requests from customers or team members.
  12. Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.
  13. Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and increase efficiency in the dock and housekeeping areas.
  14. Assist with other tasks and duties as assigned by management.

Job Qualifications

  • Experience In Warehouse Or Retail Environment: A Dock And Housekeeping Associate At Dillard's Should Have Previous Experience Working In A Warehouse Or Retail Setting. This Will Ensure That They Are Familiar With The Daily Operations And Can Quickly Adapt To The Fast-Paced Environment.

  • Physical Stamina And Ability To Lift Heavy Objects: This Job Requires A Lot Of Physical Labor, Such As Moving And Organizing Merchandise, And Cleaning And Maintaining The Store. Applicants Should Have The Physical Stamina And Strength To Perform These Tasks Efficiently.

  • Attention To Detail: The Dock And Housekeeping Associate Will Be Responsible For Maintaining The Cleanliness And Organization Of The Store's Dock And Storage Areas. They Must Have A Keen Eye For Detail To Ensure That All Items Are Properly Stored And Labeled, And The Area Is Free Of Clutter.
