Dock And Housekeeping Associate

We are currently seeking a dedicated and hardworking individual to join our team as a Dock and Housekeeping Associate. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our dock and stockroom areas, as well as assisting with housekeeping duties throughout the store. We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, energetic, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. - Maintain cleanliness and organization of dock and stockroom areas
- Ensure all merchandise is properly stored and organized in designated areas
- Assist with unloading and sorting incoming shipments
- Keep track of inventory and report any discrepancies to management
- Perform general housekeeping duties throughout the store, including vacuuming, dusting, and cleaning restrooms
- Ensure all aisles and walkways are clear and free of clutter
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures while performing job duties
- Work closely with other team members to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers as needed
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude while interacting with customers and fellow employees
- Keep track of cleaning and maintenance supplies and inform management when supplies are running low
- Follow established procedures for waste disposal and recycling
- Attend all training sessions and meetings as required by management
- Keep up-to-date with product knowledge and store layout to assist customers with locating merchandise
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Experience In Warehouse Operations: Candidates Should Have Prior Experience In A Warehouse Or Logistics Setting, With Knowledge Of Inventory Management, Receiving And Shipping Processes, And Basic Warehouse Safety Procedures.
Physical Fitness And Stamina: The Role Of A Dock And Housekeeping Associate Requires Heavy Lifting, Carrying, And Physical Movement For Extended Periods Of Time. Candidates Should Be Physically Fit And Able To Perform These Tasks Without Difficulty.
Attention To Detail: As The Dock And Housekeeping Associate Is Responsible For Maintaining The Cleanliness And Organization Of The Stockroom And Sales Floor, Attention To Detail Is Crucial. Candidates Should Be Able To Identify And Correct Any Issues Or Discrepancies In Inventory And Ensure The Presentation Of Merchandise Is Of High Quality.
Time Management And Multitasking Skills: This Role Requires The Ability To Manage Multiple Tasks And Prioritize Effectively. Candidates Should Be Able To Work Efficiently In A Fast-Paced Environment And Meet Deadlines For Receiving And Stocking Merchandise.
Customer Service Skills: While Primarily A Behind-The-Scenes Role, The Dock And Housekeeping Associate May Also Interact With Customers On The Sales Floor. Candidates Should Possess Strong Customer Service Skills, Be Friendly And Approachable, And Able To Assist Customers With Their Inquiries Or Needs.
