- Assist buyers in selecting and purchasing merchandise for Dillard's stores
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify current and upcoming trends in the retail industry
- Collaborate with buyers to develop and implement buying strategies that align with company goals
- Monitor inventory levels and make recommendations for adjustments based on sales trends
- Assist with negotiating prices, terms, and delivery schedules with vendors
- Maintain strong relationships with vendors and attend trade shows and buying trips as needed
- Work closely with the planning and allocation teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of merchandise to stores
- Track and analyze sales data to identify top-selling items and make recommendations for future purchases
- Assist with creating and maintaining purchase orders, invoices, and other buying-related documents
- Stay up-to-date on industry news and retail trends to inform buying decisions
- Provide exceptional customer service to internal teams and external vendors.
Bachelor's Degree In Retail Management, Fashion Merchandising Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In Buying, Merchandising Or Retail Management.
Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills.
Excellent Communication And Negotiation Skills.
Proficiency In Microsoft Excel And Other Retail Software Programs.
