Job Description

The Manager Nutrition Services Production at Dignity Health is a highly visible role where you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day production operations of the Nutrition Services Department to ensure the highest quality of customer service and patient satisfaction. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of three years of healthcare experience in a management role and a Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition or a related field. Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement effective strategies to ensure the highest quality of customer service and patient satisfaction.
  2. Manage daily operations of the Nutrition Services Department.
  3. Monitor and evaluate performance of staff, and provide guidance and training as necessary.
  4. Plan, organize, and direct production activities to ensure that food safety and sanitation standards are met.
  5. Develop and maintain relationships with vendors to ensure the department is supplied with the necessary resources.
  6. Ensure departmental budget is met and resources are allocated efficiently.
  7. Develop policies and procedures for the Nutrition Services Department.
  8. Monitor and analyze customer feedback and develop solutions to address customer needs.
  9. Coordinate and collaborate with other departments within the organization to ensure efficient and effective operations.
  10. Provide regular reports on departmental performance and activities to upper management.
