Job Description

At Diageo, we are looking for an ambitious, passionate and experienced Trade Marketing Executive to join our team. If you are a creative, organized individual with a strong background in sales, marketing, and brand management then this could be the perfect role for you! The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing trade marketing strategies and managing the relationships between our sales teams and other key stakeholders in the retail and on-trade channels. This position will involve developing and deploying promotional plans, trade marketing campaigns, and POS initiatives that are aligned with our overall marketing strategy.To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field, as well as a minimum of five years of experience in a sales, marketing, or brand management role. You will also need excellent communication and interpersonal skills, an eye for detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute trade marketing strategies that align with the company’s overall marketing strategy.
  2. Manage relationships between sales teams and key stakeholders in the retail and on-trade channels.
  3. Create promotional plans, trade marketing campaigns, and POS initiatives.
  4. Monitor and report on the effectiveness of trade marketing strategies.
  5. Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  6. Stay abreast of industry trends and developments.
  7. Work with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient execution of plans.
  8. Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  9. Develop and maintain relationships with key industry partners.
  10. Manage budgets for trade marketing activities.
