  1. Develop and implement internal controls policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company standards and industry regulations.
  2. Conduct risk assessments and identify areas of potential vulnerability within financial processes.
  3. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls on an ongoing basis.
  4. Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and address control deficiencies.
  5. Provide guidance and support to finance teams on internal control best practices.
  6. Conduct training sessions on internal controls and compliance for employees at all levels.
  7. Collaborate with external auditors to ensure timely completion of audits and resolution of any issues.
  8. Stay up-to-date with changes in regulations and industry standards related to internal controls.
  9. Prepare reports and presentations on the status of internal controls and recommendations for improvement.
  10. Lead investigations into any suspected fraudulent activities and take appropriate action.
  11. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to promote a culture of compliance and risk management.
  12. Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of internal controls.
  13. Communicate any changes or updates to internal controls to relevant parties and ensure proper implementation.
  14. Assist with the development and maintenance of the company's code of conduct and ethics policies.
  15. Serve as a subject matter expert on internal controls and provide guidance to other departments as needed.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Accounting, Finance, Or A Related Field.

  • Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Internal Controls Or Audit.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Internal Control Frameworks, Such As Coso Or Sox.

  • Ability To Effectively Communicate And Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Senior Management.
