1. Develop and implement global category strategies for Capital Expenditures (CapEx) and Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) categories that align with the overall business strategy of Diageo.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including finance, engineering, and operations to understand the current and future business needs and identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
3. Lead the sourcing process for CapEx and MRO categories, including identifying potential suppliers, negotiating contracts, and managing supplier relationships.
4. Monitor market trends, industry developments, and supplier performance to identify potential risks and opportunities for the business.
5. Ensure compliance with Diageo's policies and procedures, as well as relevant laws and regulations, in all procurement activities.
6. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external, to drive alignment and support for category strategies.
7. Identify and implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to optimize the procurement process for CapEx and MRO categories.
8. Monitor and report on category performance, including cost savings, supplier performance, and contract compliance, to senior management.
9. Provide guidance and support to regional and local procurement teams on CapEx and MRO category management, as needed.
10. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments, and actively seek opportunities to leverage new technologies and processes to drive innovation and efficiency in the procurement process.
