We are currently seeking a highly experienced and motivated EHS Manager to join our team and lead our Environmental, Health, and Safety initiatives across our operations. As an EHS Manager at Diageo, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees, communities, and the environment.   1. Develop and implement company-wide environmental, health, and safety policies and procedures in line with industry standards and regulations.
  2. Oversee and manage all EHS programs and initiatives, ensuring compliance and adherence to local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
  3. Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify potential hazards, risks, and areas for improvement.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective safety training programs for employees.
  5. Maintain and update all EHS records and documentation, including incident reports, training records, and regulatory permits.
  6. Act as a liaison between the company and regulatory agencies, maintaining a thorough understanding of all EHS laws and regulations.
  7. Develop and maintain emergency response plans and procedures to ensure a rapid and effective response in the event of an emergency or incident.
  8. Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis, identifying trends and implementing corrective and preventative measures.
  9. Monitor and report on key EHS performance metrics, providing regular updates to senior management on progress and areas for improvement.
  10. Stay current on industry trends and best practices in EHS management, and make recommendations for continuous improvement initiatives.
  11. Foster a culture of safety and environmental responsibility among employees, encouraging them to take an active role in EHS initiatives.
  12. Manage and oversee the budget for EHS programs and initiatives, ensuring cost-effective solutions are implemented.
  13. Conduct regular risk assessments and hazard evaluations to identify potential risks and implement controls to mitigate them.
  14. Act as a subject matter expert on EHS matters, providing guidance and support to all levels of the organization.
  15. Champion sustainability initiatives and drive a culture of environmental responsibility within the company.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Occupational Health And Safety, Environmental Science, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In The Field Of Ehs Management, Preferably In A Manufacturing Or Production Environment.

  • Extensive Knowledge Of Local, State, And Federal Environmental, Health, And Safety Regulations.

  • Strong Leadership Skills With The Ability To Effectively Train And Manage A Team Of Ehs Professionals.

  • Excellent Communication And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Manage And Implement Ehs Programs And Initiatives Across Multiple Departments And Locations.
