Distillery Manager

At Diageo, we’re looking for an experienced Distillery Manager to join our dynamic team and help us bring our products to life. We’re looking for an individual with a passion for the whisky industry, who has the knowledge and motivation to take our distillery operations to the next level.The successful candidate will be a highly organized and thorough individual, with a minimum of five years of experience working in a distillery setting. You will be knowledgeable in whisky production processes, safety regulations, and quality assurance standards. You will have impeccable communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to lead a team of distillery employees. Knowledge in distillery engineering, maintenance, and equipment is preferred.We’re looking for someone who is highly motivated and has a positive attitude. You must be able to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in order to meet deadlines. Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement distillery operations processes and procedures
• Oversee and manage distillery staff, as well as the production of whisky
• Monitor and maintain quality assurance standards
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards
• Operate and maintain distillery equipment
• Manage and oversee distillery engineering, maintenance, and production processes
• Monitor and record distillery production data
• Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency and productivity
• Prepare and manage budgets and cost estimates
• Investigate and resolve operational issues
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with suppliers and distributors
• Remain up to date with industry trends and developments
