Production Engineer
Plans and designs manufacturing processes in an industrial plant. Improves production methods, determines manufacturing capacity and sets up production schedules. Responsible for achieving work results that have impact on both short term and long term business results. Designs, fabricates, modifies and evaluates manufacturing processes such as machining, metal forming, plastics processing, welding and brazing, assembly and material handling. May assist with time and cost estimates. Develops and implements process improvements to meet quality standards, performs feasibility studies and solves manufacturing problems. Ensures that the organization's processes and equipment comply with all safety laws and regulations. Composes test and technical reports. Delivers more complex presentations.
