Cost Specialist

Perform cost data analysis, create quotations, and lead profit improvement activities. Support business development team with costing of new business opportunities. Make product and tooling quotations by closely working with Sales, Engineering, Production Engineering, Production, Production Control and Purchasing teams. Perform in-depth cost analysis and lead cross-functional cost improvement activities in order to achieve target profitability for each product type. Work with Sales team to develop short- and long term sales plans; support internal customers to develop and execute kaizen action plans. Work with Production Engineering team in developing investment plan by evaluating future business demand, production capacity and utilization. Assist purchasing team in make-or-buy analysis. Gather and compile data for management team to develop and execute long-term business plans when requested.
