Host/Hostess

Welcome to Denny’s! We are looking for a friendly, professional Host/Hostess to join our team and be the face of our restaurant. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, warmly greeting them and ensuring a great start to their dining experience. Responsibilities: • Welcome and greet guests in a warm and friendly manner. • Provide guests with menus and answer any initial questions. • Ensure that guests are seated in a timely and efficient manner. • Monitor dining room for empty tables and assign guests accordingly. • Manage waitlists and reservations. • Assist with seating large parties of guests. • Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times. • Demonstrate knowledge of menu items and restaurant operations. • Provide guests with recommendations and suggestions. • Inform guests of daily specials and promotions. • Ensure that guests are given prompt and courteous service. • Answer phones and take reservations. • Maintain a clean and organized dining area. • Resolve customer complaints and address any issues in a timely manner. • Ensure that all guests have an enjoyable dining experience.
