
Technical Analyst
The Technical Analyst is considered an SME on Ground Support Equipment utilized in Delta’s ground operations and interacts with OEMs of GSE and GSE Engineering for safety, performance and reliability issues. Tasks include designing the needed improvements for addressing safety, reliability/durability concerns across the Delta system. Heavy involvement in developing purchase specifications to ensure that new purchases meet Delta standards for safety, performance and reliability. As a member of the GSE Engineering team the Technical Analyst has responsibilities to evaluate the performance, reliability and safety of GSE and respond to operational concerns as needed. Duties include assisting Engineering with designing, documenting and testing existing, as well as potential new, equipment for upgrades to improve safety and reliability. Works directly with GSE Manufacturers and the Delta GSE Asset Management team to develop Delta purchase specifications for new unit builds.
Must have recent Delta GSE maintenance experience at least three years out of the last five years.
Black Belt or Green Belt Certification preferred.
Must be able to read and interpret technical drawings and related information.
Extensive experience with motorized, non-motorized and stationary ground equipment including conveyor systems.
