  1. Develop and maintain software solutions that support onboard service operations at Delta Air Lines.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  3. Design, code, test, and implement high-quality software solutions using industry best practices.
  4. Troubleshoot and debug complex technical issues to ensure timely and effective resolution.

Job Qualifications

  • Extensive Experience In Software Development: A Senior Software Development Engineer At Delta Air Lines Should Have A Minimum Of 5-7 Years Of Experience In Software Development. This Includes Hands-On Experience In Coding, Debugging, And Troubleshooting Complex Software Applications.

  • Proficiency In Programming Languages And Technologies: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Command Over Programming Languages Such As Java, Python, Or C++, And Experience Working With Web Development Frameworks Such As Angularjs, React, Or Node.js. Additionally, Knowledge Of Database Management Systems And Cloud Computing Technologies Is Highly Desirable.

  • Strong Understanding Of Enterprise Architecture: A Senior Software Development Engineer Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Enterprise Architecture Principles And Best Practices. This Includes Knowledge Of Scalable And Secure Software Design, Integration Patterns, And Data Modeling.

  • Leadership And Project Management Skills: As A Senior Role, The Candidate Should Possess Strong Leadership And Project Management Skills. This Includes The Ability To Lead And Mentor A Team Of Developers, Effectively Communicate With Stakeholders, And Manage Project Timelines And Deliverables.

  • Experience In The Airline Industry: While Not A Mandatory Requirement, Experience In The Airline Industry Would Be Beneficial For This Role. This Includes Knowledge Of Industry-Specific Regulations, Systems, And Processes. Additionally, Familiarity With Onboard Service Systems And Their Integration With Other Airline Systems Would Be Highly Desirable.
