Responsibilities:

  1. Greet customers with a warm and welcoming attitude, and provide them with information about Delta Air Lines and their travel options.
  2. Assist customers with checking in, printing boarding passes, and checking luggage.
  3. Proactively identify and resolve any customer concerns or complaints, ensuring a positive and satisfactory resolution.
  4. Serve as a knowledgeable resource for customers, providing them with information about Delta Air Lines policies, procedures, and services.
  5. Coordinate with other team members to ensure efficient and effective service delivery, and maintain a positive working relationship with all team members.
  6. Monitor flight schedules and provide timely updates to customers regarding any delays or changes.
  7. Assist customers with navigating the airport, including directing them to their gates and other amenities.
  8. Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently.
  9. Maintain a clean and organized work area, in compliance with safety and security regulations.
  10. Continuously strive to improve customer service by seeking feedback and implementing suggestions.
  11. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to provide exceptional service to customers.
  12. Adhere to all Delta Air Lines policies and procedures, as well as local and federal regulations.
  13. Uphold the company's values of integrity, teamwork, and excellence in all interactions with customers and colleagues.
  14. Complete any other duties or tasks as assigned by the supervisor or management.

Job Qualifications
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Red Coats Must Be Able To Effectively Communicate With Customers, Colleagues, And Other Airport Staff In A Clear, Friendly, And Professional Manner.

  • Customer Service Experience: Candidates Should Have Previous Experience In A Customer Service Role, Preferably In The Airline Or Hospitality Industry. This Will Demonstrate Their Ability To Handle Customer Inquiries And Resolve Issues Effectively.

  • Empathy And Patience: Red Coats Must Be Able To Empathize With Customers And Understand Their Needs And Concerns. They Should Also Have The Patience To Handle Difficult Or Demanding Customers In A Calm And Professional Manner.

  • Multitasking And Problem-Solving Abilities: Working In A Busy Airport Environment, Red Coats Must Be Able To Handle Multiple Tasks And Prioritize Effectively. They Should Also Have Strong Problem-Solving Skills To Find Quick And Efficient Solutions To Customer Issues.

  • Team Player: As Part Of The Delta Team, Red Coats Must Be Able To Work Well With Others And Collaborate Effectively To Ensure A Smooth Customer Experience. This Includes Being Flexible And Willing To Help Out In Other Areas When Needed.
