- Greet and welcome passengers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Assist passengers with check-in, ticketing, and boarding processes.
- Handle and process luggage and cargo in a safe and efficient manner.
- Operate ramp equipment such as tugs, dollies, and belt loaders to load and unload luggage and cargo.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and procedures while handling luggage and cargo.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area on the ramp and in the baggage handling area.
- Assist passengers with special needs or requests, such as wheelchair assistance or language translation.
- Provide accurate and timely information to passengers regarding flight schedules, delays, and cancellations.
- Communicate effectively with team members and other airport personnel to ensure smooth operations.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as ground crew and flight attendants, to ensure timely departures and arrivals.
- Resolve customer complaints and address any issues that may arise during the boarding process.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures and maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times.
- Attend training sessions and stay updated on company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
- Assist in emergency situations, such as medical emergencies or aircraft evacuations.
- Handle cash and credit card transactions for excess baggage fees and other fees, as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
High School Diploma Or Equivalent Education Level.
Previous Experience In Customer Service Or Airport Operations Preferred.
Ability To Lift Up To 70 Pounds And Pass A Physical Exam.
Excellent Verbal Communication And Interpersonal Skills.
Willingness To Work Flexible Hours, Including Nights, Weekends, And Holidays.
