Welcome to Delta Air Lines! We are currently seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Ramp Agent (Customer Service Agent) to join our team at the Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). As a Ramp Agent, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our flights and providing excellent service to our passengers.   1. Greet and welcome passengers in a friendly and professional manner.
  2. Assist passengers with check-in, boarding, and baggage handling processes.
  3. Ensure the safety and security of passengers and their belongings at all times.
  4. Communicate effectively with passengers and provide them with accurate flight and boarding information.
  5. Handle and resolve customer inquiries, complaints, and issues in a timely and courteous manner.
  6. Work collaboratively with other ramp agents and ground crew to ensure timely and efficient flight operations.
  7. Load and unload baggage and cargo onto/from aircrafts.
  8. Operate ground service equipment, such as baggage carts and tow tractors, in a safe and responsible manner.
  9. Conduct thorough pre-flight inspections of equipment and report any issues to the appropriate authorities.
  10. Adhere to all safety and security regulations and protocols at all times.
  11. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including the ramp area and baggage handling facilities.
  12. Keep accurate records of baggage and cargo movements, including weight and balance information.
  13. Follow standard operating procedures and company policies to ensure a smooth and consistent customer experience.
  14. Continuously strive to improve customer service skills and knowledge of airline operations.
  15. Attend training sessions and workshops to stay updated on industry best practices and company policies.
  16. Provide assistance to passengers with special needs or disabilities.
  17. Remain calm and professional in high-pressure and emergency situations.
  18. Collaborate with other departments, such as flight crew and gate agents, to ensure on-time departures and arrivals.
  19. Uphold the company's values and represent the Delta Air Lines brand with integrity and professionalism.
  20. Keep up-to-date with changes in flight schedules, policies, and procedures.

Job Qualifications
  • Previous Experience In Customer Service Or Related Field, Preferably In The Aviation Industry.
