  1. Develop and implement cloud architecture strategy for Delta Air Lines, with a focus on AWS services.
  2. Ensure the reliability and scalability of all cloud systems and services.
  3. Design and implement security measures to protect data and systems.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement new cloud solutions.
  5. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in AWS architecture.
  6. Provide technical guidance and support to team members and stakeholders.
  7. Perform regular system audits to identify and address potential issues.
  8. Work closely with the IT team to troubleshoot and resolve any system or service issues.
  9. Develop and maintain documentation related to cloud architecture and processes.
  10. Continuously monitor and optimize cloud systems for cost efficiency and performance.
  11. Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate team members on AWS architecture and best practices.
  12. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to cloud services.
  13. Collaborate with vendors and external partners to leverage their services and technologies.
  14. Identify and implement automation and optimization opportunities to improve processes and workflows.
  15. Support the overall growth and innovation of Delta Air Lines through the use of cloud technology.
  16. Maintain a strong understanding of the aviation industry and how it relates to cloud architecture and operations.

Job Qualifications

  • Extensive Experience With Aws Cloud Services: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience Working With Aws Cloud Services In A Large-Scale Environment. This Includes In-Depth Knowledge Of Aws Core Services Such As Ec2, S3, Rds, And Vpc.

  • Strong Leadership And Project Management Skills: As A Principal Aws Architect, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Leading A Team Of Architects And Engineers, As Well As Managing Complex Projects. They Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Leading Teams And Delivering Projects On Time And Within Budget.

  • Deep Understanding Of Devops Principles And Practices: Delta Air Lines Is A Highly Agile And Devops-Driven Organization. The Principal Aws Architect Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Devops Principles And Practices, Including Automation, Continuous Integration, And Continuous Delivery.

  • Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills: The Candidate Should Possess Excellent Communication Skills To Effectively Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams, Including Developers, Engineers, And Business Stakeholders. They Should Also Be Able To Communicate Complex Technical Concepts To Non-Technical Stakeholders.

  • Aws Certifications: Delta Air Lines Values Aws Certifications As They Demonstrate A Deep Understanding And Proficiency In Aws Cloud Services. The Ideal Candidate Should Hold Multiple Aws Certifications, Such As Aws Certified Solutions Architect And Aws Certified Devops Engineer.
