  1. Oversee all aspects of the IT department, including hardware, software, and network systems.
  2. Develop and implement strategic plans for the IT department to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in operations.
  3. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in technology to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
  4. Ensure all technology systems are secure and compliant with industry standards and regulations.
  5. Manage and allocate resources, including budget, personnel, and equipment, to support the needs of the IT department and the company.
  6. Identify and address any system issues or failures in a timely and efficient manner to minimize disruptions to operations.
  7. Collaborate with other departments to understand their technology needs and provide solutions to enhance their processes.
  8. Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure their growth and development.
  9. Develop and maintain strong relationships with external vendors and partners to ensure the company's technology needs are met.
  10. Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, including executives, to provide updates on IT projects and initiatives.
  11. Monitor and analyze key performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of IT operations and make recommendations for improvement.
  12. Stay informed about emerging technologies and make recommendations for their implementation to enhance the company's operations.
  13. Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans to ensure minimal disruption in case of a system failure or disaster.
  14. Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the IT department, encouraging team members to think creatively and find solutions to challenges.
  15. Uphold Delta Air Lines' commitment to exceptional customer service by ensuring the technology systems support a seamless and enjoyable experience for customers.

Job Qualifications
