Job Description

Responsible to the General Manager - Fleet Programs for the development and successful execution of assigned capital projects and high-level corporate initiatives related to the Delta fleet, including managing the Delta fleet capital budget. This position is a key contributor to business case development including execution plan, sourcing plan and detailed financial analysis which include project valuation, economic analysis, etc. The individual manages a team that oversees large and complex divisional and/or cross-divisional projects with moderate financial risk and extensive change management requirements. Represents Delta's interests with suppliers, government and industry representatives. Also responsible for New/Used Aircraft deliveries and Entry into Service.

Job Qualifications

  • MBA or other related advanced degree highly desirable.

  • Must have the ability to work with highly confidential proprietary information such as future flight schedules and asset acquisitions.

  • Should possess experience in maintenance, engineering, project management and finance.

  • Must also be willing to work some evenings/weekends during times of AOG
