  1. Lead and manage all aspects of Delta Air Lines' environmental programs and initiatives, ensuring alignment with company goals and values.
  2. Develop and implement strategic plans to minimize the company's environmental impact and promote sustainability across all operations.
  3. Stay up-to-date on environmental regulations and industry best practices to ensure compliance and identify opportunities for improvement.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainability into business operations and decision-making processes.
  5. Monitor and report on the company's environmental performance, providing regular updates to senior management and stakeholders.
  6. Identify and evaluate potential environmental risks and develop risk management strategies to mitigate and manage them.

  9. Develop and manage the departmental budget, ensuring efficient use of resources and cost-effective implementation of environmental initiatives.
  10. Stay informed on emerging trends and technologies in environmental sustainability and identify opportunities for Delta Air Lines to innovate and improve.
  11. Represent Delta Air Lines at environmental conferences, industry events, and meetings to promote the company's commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship.
  12. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, providing mentorship and guidance to team members and promoting professional growth and development.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Environmental Science, Sustainability, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Managing Environmental Programs In A Corporate Or Aviation Industry Setting.

  • Familiarity With Federal And State Environmental Regulations And Compliance Requirements.

  • Strong Project Management Skills With The Ability To Lead Cross-Functional Teams And Implement Environmental Initiatives.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills For Building Relationships With Internal Stakeholders, External Partners, And Regulatory Agencies.
