In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring that our employees with disabilities have the resources and support they need to thrive in their roles.   1. Develop and implement strategies to promote a culture of inclusivity and support for employees with disabilities.
  2. Oversee and manage the company's disability and leave programs, including accommodations, leaves of absence, and return-to-work processes.
  3. Ensure compliance with all applicable disability and leave laws and regulations, such as the ADA, FMLA, and state-specific laws.
  4. Collaborate with HR and legal teams to develop and maintain disability and leave policies and procedures.
  5. Serve as a resource for employees and managers regarding disability and leave-related questions and concerns.
  6. Manage and monitor all disability and leave requests, including coordinating with third-party vendors and medical professionals.
  7. Conduct trainings for managers and employees on disability and leave management best practices and legal requirements.
  8. Stay updated on changes in disability and leave laws and regulations, and make recommendations for policy and process updates as needed.
  9. Ensure accurate and timely tracking and reporting of disability and leave-related data.
  10. Foster relationships with disability and leave-related organizations and resources to enhance support for employees.
  11. Provide guidance and support to managers in handling complex disability and leave situations.
  12. Advocate for employees with disabilities to promote a fair and inclusive workplace.
  13. Collaborate with HR and management to ensure a smooth transition for employees returning from leave.
  14. Maintain confidentiality and sensitivity when handling employee disability and leave-related matters.
  15. Continuously evaluate and improve disability and leave management processes to ensure effectiveness and efficiency.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Human Resources, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.

  • 5+ Years Of Experience In Managing Disability And Leave Programs, Preferably In A Large Organization.

  • Knowledge Of Federal And State Laws And Regulations Related To Disability And Leave Management, Such As Fmla And Ada.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Make Data-Driven Decisions And Develop Creative Solutions.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Employees, Managers, And External Partners.
