Prior Experience In Ground Maintenance: Applicants Should Have Previous Experience In Grounds Maintenance, Preferably In An Airport Or Similar Environment. This Will Demonstrate Knowledge Of Safety Procedures, Equipment And Materials Used In The Field.
Knowledge Of Landscaping And Horticulture: A Good Understanding Of Landscaping And Horticulture Is Essential For Maintaining The Appearance Of The Airport Grounds. This Includes Knowledge Of Soil Types, Plant Care, And Pest Control.
Ability To Operate And Maintain Equipment: The Job Requires Operating And Maintaining Various Equipment Such As Mowers, Trimmers, And Blowers. Candidates Should Have Experience In Safely Operating And Maintaining This Equipment.
