  1. Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on all ground equipment used at LGA airport.
  2. Inspect, troubleshoot, and diagnose equipment malfunctions to determine necessary repairs.
  3. Perform preventative maintenance tasks to ensure equipment is in safe and working condition.
  4. Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs completed, including documentation of any issues or concerns.

  7. Communicate any safety concerns or equipment issues to the appropriate personnel.

  10. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in ground maintenance techniques and equipment.

  13. Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance technical skills and knowledge.

Job Qualifications

  • Prior Experience In Ground Maintenance: Applicants Should Have Previous Experience In Grounds Maintenance, Preferably In An Airport Or Similar Environment. This Will Demonstrate Knowledge Of Safety Procedures, Equipment And Materials Used In The Field.

  • Knowledge Of Landscaping And Horticulture: A Good Understanding Of Landscaping And Horticulture Is Essential For Maintaining The Appearance Of The Airport Grounds. This Includes Knowledge Of Soil Types, Plant Care, And Pest Control.

  • Ability To Operate And Maintain Equipment: The Job Requires Operating And Maintaining Various Equipment Such As Mowers, Trimmers, And Blowers. Candidates Should Have Experience In Safely Operating And Maintaining This Equipment.

  • Physical Fitness And Stamina: Ground Maintenance Work Can Involve Physical Labor Such As Lifting Heavy Objects And Working In All Weather Conditions. Applicants Should Be Physically Fit And Have The Stamina To Perform These Tasks.

  • Attention To Detail: As A Ground Maintenance Technician, Attention To Detail Is Important As The Appearance Of The Airport Grounds Reflects On The Overall Image Of The Company. Candidates Should Have An Eye For Detail And Be Able To Maintain High Standards Of Cleanliness And Organization.
