- Develop and maintain technical documentation for our Flight Operations Systems (FOS) in accordance with industry standards and company guidelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather technical information and requirements for FOS documentation.
- Ensure accuracy and consistency of all FOS documentation, including user manuals, training materials, and system updates.
- Conduct thorough research and analysis to understand complex technical concepts and translate them into clear and concise language for non-technical personnel.
- Work closely with subject matter experts to verify technical information and ensure its accuracy in documentation.
- Review and edit existing FOS documentation to improve clarity and effectiveness.
- Create and maintain templates, style guides, and other tools to standardize FOS documentation.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes in technology to continuously improve FOS documentation.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of high-quality FOS documentation.
- Participate in user acceptance testing and provide feedback on FOS system functionality and usability.
- Conduct training sessions for FOS users to effectively use and understand the system.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements, in all documentation.
- Continuously evaluate and improve FOS documentation processes and procedures.
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive information related to FOS documentation.
Bachelor's Degree In Technical Communication, English, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In Technical Writing For The Aviation Industry.
Proficiency In Adobe Creative Suite, Specifically Indesign And Illustrator.
Knowledge Of Aviation Industry Standards And Regulations, Including Faa Guidelines.
Strong Attention To Detail And Ability To Work Collaboratively With Cross-Functional Teams.
