Job Description

Welcome to Delta Air Lines! We are currently seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Co-op in our Flight Safety Programs department. In this role, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and contribute to the safety of our flights. We are looking for someone who is passionate about aviation and has a strong attention to detail.   1. Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures.
  2. Participate in the development and implementation of flight safety programs.
  3. Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify potential safety risks and make recommendations for improvement.
  4. Assist in creating and maintaining safety manuals and training materials.
  5. Support the coordination and execution of safety training for flight crew and other employees.
  6. Monitor and evaluate safety data to identify trends and make proactive recommendations.
  7. Communicate safety updates and initiatives to team members and other departments.
  8. Provide administrative support to the Flight Safety Programs department.
  9. Utilize strong attention to detail to review and update safety policies and procedures.
  10. Proactively identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for enhancing safety protocols.
  11. Continuously stay up-to-date on industry safety standards and regulations.
  12. Demonstrate a strong commitment to teamwork and collaboration.
  13. Uphold the values and standards of Delta Air Lines.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree In Aviation Or Related Field: A Strong Educational Background In Aviation Is Essential For A Co-Op, Flight Safety Programs Job At Delta Air Lines. This Degree Demonstrates A Strong Understanding Of Aviation Principles And Industry-Specific Knowledge.

  • Knowledge Of Federal Aviation Administration (Faa) Regulations: Delta Air Lines Places A High Priority On Safety And Compliance With Faa Regulations. Therefore, Candidates Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of These Regulations And How They Apply To The Airline Industry.

  • Previous Experience In Flight Safety Or Aviation Safety: While Not Always Required, Having Previous Experience In Flight Safety Or Aviation Safety Is Highly Desirable For This Role. This Could Include Internships, Co-Op Positions, Or Other Relevant Work Experience.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: A Co-Op, Flight Safety Programs Job At Delta Air Lines Requires The Ability To Analyze Complex Data And Identify Potential Safety Hazards. Candidates Should Possess Strong Critical Thinking And Problem-Solving Skills To Effectively Mitigate Safety Risks.
