  1. Perform routine and non-routine maintenance tasks on various types of aircraft in accordance with company and industry standards.
  2. Conduct thorough inspections of aircraft systems, components, and structures to identify and address any issues or defects.
  3. Utilize technical manuals, diagrams, and other resources to troubleshoot and diagnose aircraft malfunctions.
  4. Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed, including the use of computerized maintenance tracking systems.
  5. Coordinate with other maintenance team members, flight crews, and ground personnel to ensure timely and efficient completion of maintenance tasks.
  6. Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures, and report any safety hazards or concerns to management.
  7. Stay up-to-date on industry developments, regulations, and best practices related to aircraft maintenance.
  8. Assist with the development and implementation of maintenance procedures and protocols.
  9. Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
  10. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly maintained and stored.
  11. Communicate effectively with team members, superiors, and other departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Job Qualifications
  • Faa Certification: A Valid Airframe And Powerplant (A&P) License Issued By The Federal Aviation Administration (Faa) Is A Mandatory Requirement For An Aircraft Maintenance Technician At Delta Air Lines. This Certification Ensures That The Technician Has The Necessary Knowledge And Skills To Perform Maintenance And Repairs On Aircraft.

  • Experience In Aircraft Maintenance: Delta Air Lines Looks For Candidates With At Least 2-3 Years Of Experience In Aircraft Maintenance. This Experience Can Be Gained Through Working With An Airline, An Aircraft Manufacturer, Or A Maintenance And Repair Organization (Mro). Having Prior Experience In Performing Maintenance Tasks On Different Types Of Aircraft Is Preferred.

  • Knowledge Of Aircraft Systems: An Aircraft Maintenance Technician At Delta Air Lines Must Have A Thorough Understanding Of Various Aircraft Systems, Including Electrical, Mechanical, Hydraulic, And Pneumatic Systems. They Should Be Able To Troubleshoot And Identify Issues With These Systems And Perform Necessary Repairs.

  • Attention To Detail: This Job Requires A High Level Of Attention To Detail And Precision. Aircraft Maintenance Technicians Must Be Able To Follow Maintenance Manuals, Procedures, And Safety Protocols Accurately To Ensure The Safety And Reliability Of The Aircraft.
