  1. Lead and manage a team of tax professionals to provide strategic tax planning and consulting services to clients.
  2. Utilize tax knowledge and expertise to provide guidance and support to team members.
  3. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and act as a trusted advisor.
  4. Stay updated on tax laws and regulations and provide insights and recommendations to clients.
  5. Oversee and review tax compliance and reporting processes.
  6. Identify potential tax risks and propose solutions to mitigate them.
  7. Collaborate with other teams within Deloitte to deliver integrated services to clients.
  8. Mentor and train team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  9. Act as a point of contact for client inquiries and concerns.
  10. Contribute to the growth of the practice by identifying new business opportunities and developing proposals.
  11. Represent Deloitte at industry events and conferences to promote the firm's services.
  12. Ensure timely and accurate delivery of services to clients.
  13. Maintain high standards of quality and professionalism in all aspects of work.
  14. Contribute to the development and implementation of new processes and initiatives.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Knowledge Of Accounting For Income Taxes: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Accounting Principles And Tax Laws Related To Income Taxes, Including Asc 740 (Formerly Fas 109 And Fin 48).

  • Strong Technical Skills: The Role Requires The Ability To Analyze Complex Tax Issues And Provide Innovative Solutions, As Well As A Deep Understanding Of Tax Research Tools And Tax Software.

  • Leadership Experience: The Manager Will Be Responsible For Leading And Mentoring A Team Of Professionals, So Previous Experience In A Supervisory Or Leadership Role Is Highly Desirable.

  • Excellent Communication Skills: The Manager Will Need To Effectively Communicate Complex Tax Concepts To Clients, Team Members, And Other Stakeholders. Strong Written And Verbal Communication Skills Are Critical For Success In This Role.

  • Advanced Degree And/Or Cpa Certification: A Graduate Degree In Tax Or Accounting, And/Or A Cpa Certification, Is Preferred For This Position, As It Demonstrates A High Level Of Technical Knowledge And Commitment To The Field.
