  1. Provide strategic guidance to clients: The Sustainability & Climate Physical Risk Manager will be responsible for providing clients with strategic guidance and advice on how to navigate the complex landscape of sustainability and climate change.
  2. Develop innovative solutions: The manager will be expected to develop innovative solutions to help clients manage and mitigate the physical risks associated with climate change. This will involve staying up-to-date with the latest research and trends in the field.
  3. Conduct risk assessments: The manager will be responsible for conducting comprehensive risk assessments to identify potential climate-related risks for clients and develop strategies to address them.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams: The manager will work closely with cross-functional teams within Deloitte to leverage their expertise and develop holistic solutions for clients.
  5. Stay updated on industry developments: It will be the responsibility of the manager to stay updated on the latest industry developments, regulations, and best practices related to sustainability and climate risk management.
  6. Communicate with clients: The manager will be responsible for effectively communicating with clients to understand their needs, provide updates on progress, and present recommendations.
  7. Lead and mentor team members: The manager will be responsible for leading and mentoring team members, providing guidance and support to help them develop their skills and expertise in sustainability and climate risk management.
  8. Drive thought leadership: The manager will be expected to drive thought leadership within the organization and the industry by conducting research, writing articles, and participating in conferences and events.
  9. Maintain relationships with stakeholders: The manager will be responsible for maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and industry experts, to stay informed on emerging trends and build the firm's reputation as a leader in sustainability and climate risk management.
  10. Adhere to company policies and standards: The manager will be expected to adhere to all company policies and standards, including ethical standards, to maintain the firm's reputation and ensure high-quality service delivery.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Environmental Science, Climate Change, Sustainability, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Risk Management, Preferably In The Areas Of Sustainability And Climate Change.

  • Knowledge Of Current And Emerging Sustainability And Climate-Related Regulations, Frameworks, And Initiatives.

  • Strong Analytical Skills And Ability To Assess And Mitigate Physical Risks Related To Climate Change And Sustainability For Clients.

  • Excellent Communication And Project Management Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Cross-Functional Teams And Clients To Develop And Implement Risk Management Strategies.
