2. Provide technical guidance and direction to software engineering teams
3. Develop innovative software solutions to complex problems
4. Establish and maintain best practices for software engineering standards
5. Evaluate and recommend new technologies as needed
6. Monitor progress of project tasks and report progress to senior management
7. Identify and resolve any technical issues that arise
8. Foster teamwork and collaboration within and across software engineering teams
9. Mentor and train junior software engineering team members
10. Ensure software engineering team’s compliance with industry standards
