- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients utilizing the Workday Student platform.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and provide tailored solutions using Workday Student.
- Manage the implementation, configuration, and customization of Workday Student for clients.
- Provide expert knowledge and guidance on best practices for utilizing Workday Student in higher education settings.
- Conduct training sessions for clients on how to effectively use Workday Student and its features.
- Lead project teams and work with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Proactively identify and address any issues or challenges that may arise during the implementation process.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest developments and updates in the Workday Student platform to ensure clients are utilizing the most current and effective solutions.
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance to clients post-implementation, including troubleshooting and resolving any technical issues.
- Communicate regularly with clients to provide project updates and gather feedback on their satisfaction with the Workday Student platform.
- Collaborate with Deloitte colleagues to share knowledge, best practices, and lessons learned from previous Workday Student implementations.
- Stay informed on industry trends and developments in the higher education sector to provide valuable insights and recommendations to clients.
- Represent Deloitte and the Workday Student platform at industry events and conferences.
Extensive Workday Experience: The Ideal Candidate For A Senior Workday Student Consultant Role At Deloitte Should Have A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Hands-On Experience Working With Workday, With A Focus On Student Functionality. This Experience Should Include Implementing, Configuring, And Troubleshooting The Workday Platform.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Student Processes: A Strong Understanding Of Student Processes And Workflows Is Essential For This Role. The Candidate Should Have Experience In Areas Such As Admissions, Registration, Financial Aid, Student Records, And Student Life.
Project Management Skills: As A Senior Workday Student Consultant, The Individual Will Be Responsible For Leading Implementation Projects For Clients. Therefore, The Candidate Should Have Strong Project Management Skills, With The Ability To Manage Timelines, Resources, And Deliverables Effectively.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: The Candidate Should Possess Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, As They Will Be Working Closely With Clients And Cross-Functional Teams. They Should Also Be Able To Effectively Communicate Complex Technical Concepts To Non-Technical Stakeholders.
Workday Certifications: Deloitte Values Candidates Who Have Obtained Workday Certifications. A Senior Workday Student Consultant Should Have At Least One Workday Certification, With A Preference For Those Related To Student Functionality (E.g., Workday Student Core, Student Recruiting, Student Financial Aid). Additional Certifications In Other Workday Modules Are A Plus.
