- Monitor and analyze network traffic, system logs, and other security data to identify potential security breaches or threats.
- Investigate and respond to security incidents in a timely and efficient manner.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and remediate potential vulnerabilities.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats, trends, and technologies.
- Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and best practices to protect sensitive information and systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy and maintain security tools and solutions.
- Provide recommendations for security improvements based on industry best practices and compliance requirements.
- Conduct security awareness training for employees to promote a security-conscious culture.
- Participate in risk assessments and contribute to the development of risk mitigation strategies.
- Create and maintain documentation of security processes and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders on security-related issues.
- Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 support for security incidents.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of security controls and make recommendations for enhancements.
- Collaborate with incident response teams to develop and maintain incident response plans.
- Act as a subject matter expert and provide guidance and support to junior team members.
Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In A Security Operations Center (Soc) Environment.
Strong Knowledge Of Industry-Standard Security Tools And Technologies, Such As Siem, Ids/Ips, Dlp, And Vulnerability Scanners.
Experience With Incident Response Processes And Procedures, Including Threat Hunting, Triage, And Remediation.
Relevant Certifications, Such As Cissp, Ceh, Or Gcih, Are Preferred.
