Pursuits Manager – Tax

As a Pursuits Manager – Tax at Deloitte, you will lead the development and execution of winning responses for tax-related opportunities. You will be an integral part of the Tax Pursuits team, working closely with Partners, Principals, and senior management to deliver compelling and successful proposals. In this role, you must possess a combination of analytical, project management, and interpersonal skills.The ideal candidate will have an advanced degree in Tax or a related field, plus 8+ years of relevant experience. You must have a strong understanding of the tax services marketplace and experience in a professional services organization. Additionally, you must have experience in responding to RFPs, RFIs, and other complex sales pursuits. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, creativity and strategic thinking, and strong attention to detail are essential.

Responsibilities:

• Develop winning pursuit strategies and materials for tax-related opportunities

• Work closely with Partners, Principals, and senior management to ensure successful proposal delivery

• Analyze and interpret client needs in order to create compelling responses • Utilize advanced tax and project management knowledge to ensure successful proposal delivery • Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, creativity, and strategic thinking • Maintain strong attention to detail throughout the proposal development and submission process • Manage multiple projects simultaneously and effectively • Utilize strong understanding of the tax services marketplace and experience in a professional services organization to create successful proposal submissions • Respond to RFPs, RFIs, and other complex sales pursuits in an accurate and timely manner
