  1. Develop and implement strategies to maintain and enhance compliance with independence and conflicts policies.
  2. Monitor and assess potential conflicts of interest within the organization.
  3. Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure adherence to ethical standards.
  4. Communicate and train employees on independence and conflicts policies and procedures.
  5. Provide guidance and support to team members on complex independence and conflicts issues.
  6. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and address potential conflicts of interest.
  7. Stay up-to-date on industry regulations and best practices related to independence and conflicts.
  8. Serve as a subject matter expert and resource for independence and conflicts policies and procedures.
  9. Investigate and resolve any reported violations of independence and conflicts policies.
  10. Prepare and present reports to senior management on compliance efforts and any identified risks.
  11. Proactively identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for policy updates and process enhancements.
  12. Foster a culture of integrity and ethical behavior within the organization.
  13. Develop and maintain strong relationships with external regulatory bodies and industry organizations.
  14. Mentor and develop team members to support their career growth and professional development.
  15. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Job Qualifications
  • Strong Knowledge Of Independence And Conflicts Management Regulations: The Ideal Candidate For This Role Should Possess A Deep Understanding Of The Regulatory Landscape Surrounding Independence And Conflicts Management In The Professional Services Industry. This Includes Knowledge Of Relevant Laws, Regulations, And Best Practices.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Manager In The Independence & Conflicts Network, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Communicating Complex Information To Various Stakeholders, Including Senior Leadership, Engagement Teams, And Client Personnel. Strong Interpersonal Skills Are Crucial For Building Relationships And Managing Conflicts Effectively.

  • Proven Experience In Managing Independence And Conflicts Processes: The Candidate Should Have A Track Record Of Successfully Managing Independence And Conflicts Processes In A Large Professional Services Organization. This Includes Experience In Conducting Independence Assessments, Managing Conflicts Checks, And Providing Guidance To Engagement Teams.

  • Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: The Manager Will Be Required To Analyze Complex Situations And Make Sound Decisions Based On Established Policies And Procedures. The Ideal Candidate Should Have Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills To Identify Potential Conflicts And Propose Solutions To Mitigate Them.

  • Leadership And Team Management Experience: This Role Will Involve Managing A Team Of Independence And Conflicts Professionals. The Candidate Should Have Experience In Leading And Developing A Team, Setting Goals, And Providing Feedback. Additionally, The Candidate Should Be Able To Collaborate Effectively With Other Teams And Departments Within The Organization.
