- Lead and manage a team of security experts, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure the successful implementation and maintenance of security measures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and departments to develop and implement effective security strategies and solutions for clients.
- Stay abreast of the latest security threats, technologies, and industry best practices to continuously improve and enhance security measures.
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify potential vulnerabilities and risks, and develop mitigation plans.
- Design, implement, and maintain firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and other security technologies.
- Monitor network traffic and security logs for potential security breaches and respond promptly to any incidents.
- Develop and maintain documentation, policies, and procedures related to security measures and protocols.
- Conduct regular training and awareness sessions for employees and clients on security protocols and best practices.
- Act as a subject matter expert and provide guidance on security-related matters to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Participate in the development and execution of business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
- Collaborate with external vendors and partners to ensure the timely and effective delivery of security services and solutions.
- Identify and recommend new security technologies and tools to enhance the overall security posture of the organization.
- Stay compliant with relevant industry standards, regulations, and laws related to information security.
- Provide timely and accurate reports to management and clients on the status of security measures, incidents, and remediation efforts.
- Act as a liaison between clients and the organization to address any security concerns or incidents.
Extensive Knowledge Of Firewall And Security Systems: The Ideal Candidate Should Have In-Depth Knowledge And Experience Working With Various Firewall And Security Systems, Such As Cisco Asa, Palo Alto, Fortinet, And Check Point. They Should Be Able To Design, Implement, And Troubleshoot Complex Firewall And Security Solutions.
Strong Understanding Of Network Security Concepts: The Lead Engineer Should Have A Solid Understanding Of Network Security Concepts, Including Intrusion Detection/Prevention, Encryption, Access Controls, And Vulnerability Management. They Should Be Able To Identify And Mitigate Potential Security Threats And Vulnerabilities.
Experience In Network Design And Architecture: The Candidate Should Have A Strong Background In Network Design And Architecture, Including Experience With Routing And Switching Protocols, Vlans, And Network Segmentation. This Will Enable Them To Design And Implement Secure Network Infrastructures.
Professional Certifications: Deloitte Typically Requires Candidates For This Role To Have Industry-Recognized Certifications, Such As Cisco Certified Network Professional (Ccnp) Security, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (Cissp), Or Certified Information Systems Auditor (Cisa).
