  1. Identify and secure grant funding opportunities for hazard mitigation projects.
  2. Develop and maintain relationships with relevant stakeholders, including government agencies and non-profit organizations, to enhance funding opportunities.
  3. Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify potential grant opportunities and eligibility criteria.
  4. Prepare and submit grant proposals and applications in a timely and accurate manner.
  5. Monitor and track grant progress and ensure compliance with all grant requirements.
  6. Collaborate with team members to develop effective strategies for securing grant funding.
  7. Provide guidance and support to project teams on grant-related matters.
  8. Stay up-to-date on relevant regulations and policies related to grant funding.
  9. Communicate with clients and stakeholders to provide updates on grant progress and outcomes.
  10. Maintain accurate and organized records of grant applications, awards, and reports.
  11. Prepare and present reports and presentations on grant funding and project progress.
  12. Stay informed on industry trends and best practices in grant management and hazard mitigation.
  13. Participate in trainings and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
  14. Support overall team goals and contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment.
  15. Demonstrate a commitment to making a positive impact on communities and enhancing resilience to natural disasters.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Public Administration, Emergency Management, Or Urban Planning.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Hazard Mitigation And Grant Administration, Preferably In A Consulting Or Government Setting.

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Federal And State Grant Programs Related To Hazard Mitigation, Including Fema's Hazard Mitigation Assistance Programs.

  • Strong Project Management Skills, Including Experience In Developing And Managing Grant Budgets, Timelines, And Deliverables.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Diverse Stakeholders And Effectively Present Complex Information To Non-Technical Audiences.
