- Lead the data conversion process from legacy systems to Epic, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of data transfer.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and map data elements to Epic's data structures.
- Develop and execute data conversion scripts and programs to transform and load data into Epic.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any data inconsistencies or errors during the conversion process.
- Utilize best practices and industry standards to ensure data quality and integrity.
- Document all data conversion processes and procedures for future reference.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Epic updates and enhancements related to data conversion.
- Proactively identify potential issues and risks in the data conversion process and provide recommendations for mitigation.
- Communicate with stakeholders and provide regular updates on the progress of the data conversion.
- Train and mentor junior team members on data conversion processes and procedures.
- Continuously monitor and improve data conversion processes to increase efficiency and accuracy.
- Adhere to all company and industry regulations and standards related to data handling and protection.
- Collaborate with Epic technical support to troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues related to data conversion.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in data conversion techniques and tools.
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive healthcare data.
Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or A Related Field.
Excellent Communication And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced, Team-Oriented Environment.
Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Data Conversion And Migration Projects, Preferably In The Healthcare Industry.
Strong Knowledge Of Epic Software And Its Data Structures.
Experience With Etl Tools And Sql Programming.
