Software Architect
As a Software Architect, you will work in collaboration with the global Architect team in planning the overall strategy for the Degreed platform. Mentor individuals to grow their technical, system, tooling, and product knowledge. Evangelize company and engineering principles and industry best practices with multiple engineering teams. Collaborate with your fellow Architects and Degreed’s Architecture team to drive engineering standards, best practices, cross-team collaboration, and architectural oversight. Oversee, lead and provide guidance on architectural and design concepts, conducting design reviews of RFCs and other proposals.
10+ years experience in software design and architecture
Demonstrated experience with leading architectural decisions
A passion for learning new technologies and platforms and for taking on new challenges
Expert-level knowledge of design principles, such as design patterns, interfaces, and object-oriented programming
