Job Description

We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Unit-Based Nurse Clinician (RN) to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to use your clinical expertise to provide advanced nursing care and support to patients on a specific unit. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality of care for our patients.   1. Provide advanced nursing care and support to patients on a specific unit.
  2. Use clinical expertise to assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans.
  3. Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure coordinated and holistic care for patients.
  4. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  5. Monitor and document patient progress and responses to treatments.
  6. Educate patients and their families on their medical conditions, treatment plans, and self-care techniques.
  7. Advocate for patients' needs and ensure their rights are respected.
  8. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  9. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations.
  10. Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current on best practices and advancements in nursing.
  11. Serve as a resource and mentor to other nursing staff.
  12. Collaborate with unit leaders to identify areas for improvement and implement quality improvement initiatives.
  13. Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
  14. Communicate effectively and professionally with patients, families, and colleagues.
  15. Continuously strive to provide exceptional care and support to patients and their families.

Job Qualifications
  • Current Basic Life Support (Bls) And Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Acls) Certifications.

  • Active Registered Nurse (Rn) License In The State Of Employment.

  • Bachelor Of Science In Nursing (Bsn) Degree From An Accredited Institution.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Clinical Experience In A Relevant Unit Or Specialty Area.

  • Demonstrated Leadership Skills, Including The Ability To Mentor And Educate Other Nurses And Healthcare Professionals.
