Systems Administrator

Deaconess Health System is seeking an experienced Systems Administrator to maintain and manage the company’s computer systems and networks. The ideal candidate for this role should possess the technical and problem-solving skills necessary to ensure the smooth running of our IT infrastructure. This position requires a high level of technical skill and a strong customer service orientation. The successful candidate will be a detail-oriented professional with excellent written and verbal communication abilities. To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field, along with 3-5 years of experience in systems administration. Additionally, the candidate should have a comprehensive knowledge of networking technologies, operating systems, computer hardware, and software applications. The Systems Administrator should also be comfortable troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues while providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities:

• Maintain and manage Deaconess Health System's computer systems and networks
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
• Provide excellent customer service
• Monitor security systems and ensure integrity of data
• Administer and configure backups and disaster recovery plans
• Develop, implement, and maintain policies, procedures, and associated training plans for system administration
• Manage user accounts and access rights
• Monitor and optimize system performance
• Keep abreast of the latest technologies and best practices in systems administration
• Ensure information technology assets are optimally utilized
• Document all system configuration changes
