- Develop and implement staffing strategies and policies that meet the needs of the entire Deaconess Health System.
- Oversee the recruitment, hiring, and onboarding process for all positions within the organization, ensuring that qualified and dedicated staff are hired.
- Collaborate with department managers to assess staffing needs and create staffing plans to ensure adequate coverage and quality of care.
- Manage and monitor the budget for the Central Staffing department, ensuring cost-effective and efficient staffing practices.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in healthcare staffing, and implement new processes or technologies to improve efficiency and quality of care.
- Foster a culture of excellence and patient-centered care within the organization, ensuring that all staff are trained and equipped to deliver the highest level of care to patients.
- Develop and maintain relationships with staffing agencies and other external partners in order to meet staffing needs.
- Oversee the performance management process for staff within the Central Staffing department, providing feedback, coaching, and recognition to ensure a high-performing team.
- Collaborate with other departments and leaders within the organization to ensure a cohesive and efficient staffing process.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies related to staffing and human resources.
- Serve as a role model and mentor for staff, promoting a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Represent the organization at conferences, networking events, and other industry-related activities to promote Deaconess Health System as a leading healthcare provider.
Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In Healthcare Management, With A Focus On Staffing And Resource Allocation.
Experience In Developing And Implementing Staffing Policies And Procedures.
Strong Leadership Skills And The Ability To Effectively Manage And Motivate A Team.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Healthcare Regulations And Accreditation Standards, Such As The Joint Commission And Cms.
