  1. Develop and implement staffing strategies and policies that meet the needs of the entire Deaconess Health System.
  2. Oversee the recruitment, hiring, and onboarding process for all positions within the organization, ensuring that qualified and dedicated staff are hired.
  3. Collaborate with department managers to assess staffing needs and create staffing plans to ensure adequate coverage and quality of care.
  4. Manage and monitor the budget for the Central Staffing department, ensuring cost-effective and efficient staffing practices.
  5. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in healthcare staffing, and implement new processes or technologies to improve efficiency and quality of care.
  6. Foster a culture of excellence and patient-centered care within the organization, ensuring that all staff are trained and equipped to deliver the highest level of care to patients.
  7. Develop and maintain relationships with staffing agencies and other external partners in order to meet staffing needs.
  8. Oversee the performance management process for staff within the Central Staffing department, providing feedback, coaching, and recognition to ensure a high-performing team.
  9. Collaborate with other departments and leaders within the organization to ensure a cohesive and efficient staffing process.
  10. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies related to staffing and human resources.
  11. Serve as a role model and mentor for staff, promoting a positive and collaborative work environment.
  12. Represent the organization at conferences, networking events, and other industry-related activities to promote Deaconess Health System as a leading healthcare provider.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In Healthcare Management, With A Focus On Staffing And Resource Allocation.

  • Experience In Developing And Implementing Staffing Policies And Procedures.

  • Strong Leadership Skills And The Ability To Effectively Manage And Motivate A Team.

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Healthcare Regulations And Accreditation Standards, Such As The Joint Commission And Cms.
