
Supplemental Exercise Physiologist
Deaconess Health System is looking for a passionate and dedicated Supplemental Exercise Physiologist to join our team. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of exercise physiology principles, evidence-based practice, and exercise programming. As an Exercise Physiologist, you will be responsible for providing professional expertise and services to patients and families related to exercise physiology. We are looking for an individual who is committed to providing quality care and is capable of working with a variety of patient populations. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Physiology or related field, a current CPR certification, and a minimum of two (2) years of experience working with exercise physiology principles. Strong communication and organizational skills are also required, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities:
- Provide professional exercise physiology services to patients and families, including exercise programming and evidence-based practice.
- Develop individualized exercise programs that meet the needs of each patient.
- Develop and review exercise physiology protocols and policies.
- Educate patients and families on the principles of exercise physiology and its benefits for health and wellbeing.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust exercise programs as needed.
- Maintain patient records and documentation of services.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to promote and coordinate patient care.
- Manage patient scheduling and follow-up appointments.
- Remain current with new developments in exercise physiology.
- Participate in continuing education activities to stay abreast of new developments and best practices.
Excellent Interpersonal And Communication Skills
Bachelor's Degree In Exercise Science Or Related Field
Certified Exercise Physiologist (Acsm Or Similar Certification)
Cpr/Aed Certification
Demonstrated Ability To Work Within A Team
Experience With Exercise Physiology Assessment And Testing
