  1. Conduct ultrasound examinations on expectant mothers in a timely and accurate manner.
  2. Ensure the safety and comfort of patients throughout the ultrasound process.
  3. Perform quality control checks on ultrasound equipment and report any issues.
  4. Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information and ultrasound findings.
  5. Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide comprehensive care for expectant mothers.
  6. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to explain procedures and address any questions or concerns.
  7. Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  8. Stay up-to-date with the latest technology and techniques in ultrasound imaging.
  9. Assist in the training and supervision of new Sonographer Perinatal staff.

  12. Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
  13. Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of A Bachelor's Degree In Diagnostic Medical Sonography Or Related Field.

  • Current Certification As A Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (Rdms) Through The American Registry For Diagnostic Medical Sonography (Ardms).

  • Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In Perinatal Sonography.

  • Knowledge And Experience With High-Risk Pregnancies, Including Fetal Anomalies And Multiple Gestations.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With A Multidisciplinary Team And Provide Compassionate Care To Patients And Their Families.
